Case puts all the gadgets in one place. Ideal for travel or storage at home or in your vehicle. Maybe a little bulky in a small carry-on.
The case does not have a carry handle or strap except for a small finger strap at one end, but odds are you will be carrying this in a gym bag or some other bag, so a finger strap is all that you really need.I like that this case is reasonably compact, yet roomy enough to hold other items that I use together with my Forerunner. I put my Forerunner in one half, and the heart rate monitor in the other half, and still have room in each half for other items.
Plus there is room for my ipod, armband, and miscellaneous other items. The case is a semi rigid "clamshell that offers much more protection than a simple nylon carrying case. This case is well designed for carrying my Garmin Forerunner 305 and heart rate monitor.
There is a single zipper that easily closes the case.Unlike other reviews, I don't find the space to be cramped. It opens in half, and each half has a mesh to hold items in place.
There are ventilation holes in the top and both sides, so you don't have to worry about a "gym locker" smell building up. Because of the mesh holding the Forerunner in place, there is absolutely no worry about scratching the face of the Forerunner.Although the heart rate monitor does have to be folded a bit, this does it no harm.
I have tried other kinds of cases, and like the protection and design of this case the best.
great for protecting your garmin and accessories. a ockward fit for chest monitor but a great buy.
Great. It is so nice to be able to keep everything in one spot. This is a very durable and well thought out product. I really like how each side has its own mesh pocket so everything stays in its place when opened and is easily viewed without having to dig around.
I've been looking for a nice carrying case for my heart rate monitor, receiver and transmitter since my watch face always ends up getting scratched and/or my transmitter gets lost with all my other gear. Unfortunately, the manufacturer (Polar) no longer makes one. The Garmin is perfect for my needs with ample enough space to stow my cell phone and air holes to ensure drying of the products after a lengthy run, spin class or ice hockey game. I'll probably be buying another one for my other monitors.
